RCMP apologizes for lack of consultation on Safe Place program
The head of the Kelowna RCMP detachment issued an apology on Tuesday. Supt. Kara Triance admitted the RCMP messed up its roll out of a “Safe Place” program. Police announced the initiative without consulting locally with the community the program is meant to help.
